Who you are buying from

ClipLedge is made and sold by Josh Snoddy, a sole trader trading as ClipLedge, based in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. You can contact us at support@clipledge.com.

License grant

ClipLedge is licensed, not sold. A license grants you the right to use ClipLedge on one Mac at a time. One license covers one Mac; to use ClipLedge on more than one Mac at the same time, you need a license for each.

Your license is not transferable to another person, but you may move it between your own Macs: deactivate it on one Mac and activate it on another. A license is active on only one Mac at a time.

The free trial

ClipLedge is free to use for 7 days from first launch, with no payment required to start. When the trial ends, recording new copies pauses until you enter a valid license; clips you captured during the trial can still be pasted.

Permitted use

You may use ClipLedge for personal or business purposes on your own Mac. You may not resell, redistribute, rent or sublicense it, or attempt to circumvent its licensing.

Updates

Every purchase includes one year of free updates: all improvements and fixes released in the year after your purchase are included at no extra cost. After that year, the version you have keeps working for as long as you like, and updates released after the first year are offered separately.

Purchases and tax

ClipLedge costs $19 (USD) per Mac, one time, including any applicable taxes. Payment is processed securely by Stripe, which emails you a receipt. Stripe processes the payment on our behalf and is not the seller. Your use of the checkout is also subject to Stripe's own terms.

Refunds

Refunds are covered by our refund policy: a 14-day money-back guarantee, refunded to your original payment method.

Disclaimer and liability

ClipLedge is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
